One of Mexico’s historical treasures, the fresco by Mexican artist Manuel Rodr铆guez Lozano known as “El Holocausto.”

馃帹 The imposing canvas, measuring 8.9 meters wide by 6.37 meters long, depicts the scene of a young, slender, half-naked man collapsing on his limbs, surrounded by nine women covered with shawls, looking up to the sky imploring that he does not die. This represents one of the pinnacle works of Rodr铆guez Lozano’s career, a member of the group Los Contempor谩neos.

The centerpiece of the main staircase of the building located at 30 Isabel La Cat贸lica Street, in the Historic Center of Mexico City.
